I used it for one winter last year when I was still at my parents' place. It's pretty warm at my apartment... I didn't have the heater turned on at all when it was -8 degrees, and the apartment was still warm, so I probably won't be need this heater anymore.
Here's my craigslist ad:
http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bnc/a ... 16034.htmlIf one of you guys wants it, I can sell it to you for $40 if you'd like.
It's a ceramic coated convection heater. It'll have a bit of a humming noise when you use it because it uses a fan to push the heat out.
Also have a oil-filled space heater as well. No pictures, but you probably know which type it is... like the one in the baby room at church. Also $40.

Cold season coming up again... haven't sold these yet.
Noma portable heater - electrical heating element, fan driven (kinda like a hair dryer)
Sunbeam oil-filled heater - just a space heater
$30 for either one. I just want to get rid of these to make space

It isn't small... it's about 3 feet long or tall.. you can sit it upright or lay flat.
The fan isn't the silent type, so it does hum a bit.
Looks exactly like this:

Yeah, probably. It has an automatic shut off feature, but not sure how close you want to put your gear to it because it's fan driven so if you block the airflow, it might not be that good.
