secretary's computer is freaking slow and council only said we can get new ram for it (as opposed to a new computer). this is what we need:

hopefully in the form of 2 sticks at 1gb each. let me know what you computer dudes have.

hmm i might have some pc3200 at my parents house....

There is 1GB of DDR, i have them, but still using them in my old crappy server, but i do have one 512 DDR somewhere.

yes, low ram usual equals constant page filing which equals super slow performance.
the loss of performance in using 4 sticks from 2 is pretty negligible compared to that.

probably not. you can buy it and donate it though haha.
we're not looking for a new computer because apparently we're using old software that wouldn't be compatible with windows 7. not sure what they are, or why it matters, but that came from the council.

yeah, you can have it.. i gotta go to my parents place to pick it up. I havent been there in a week and a half. I'll see if i can get it for you this week. I'm pretty sure they're PC3200.... if not the sooo solllliiii
